We're saying this before the price, not after, because it's the kind of thing you'd rather know now.
Satori isn't a program we rent you or a service that lives on our servers. It's a system that installs on your computer and runs on Claude Code, Anthropic's tool. For your Satori to work you need an active Claude subscription — and you pay that directly to Anthropic, not to Satoro.
And there's an entry requirement, not just a cost one: before your first session you install Claude Desktop on your computer, with a video and a step-by-step manual. Nobody arrives at the first session without their Satori installed. If you can't do it alone, the Installation Clinic works with you until it's running.
What it costs, no fine print:
Pro plan — US$20 a month (US$17 if you pay the year upfront). Includes Claude Code. It's the plan you'll use for the Camp and the one most people use to run their Satori every day.
Max plan — from US$100 a month. The same, with 5 or 20 times more usage. It makes sense if you're going to lean on your Satori many hours a day; you don't need it to get started.
Claude's free plan doesn't include Claude Code, so it doesn't work for running a Satori.
It's a real, recurring cost, and we'd rather you factor it in before buying the Camp than after. It's also the cost that makes Satori yours: the system lives on your machine and the account is yours, so nobody can shut it off or keep your information.
The reasonable objection to switching tools is "I've been talking to ChatGPT for two years, I'm not starting from zero." You don't start from zero. Most platforms let you download your full history, and in the Installation Clinic your Satori reads it, indexes it and turns it into its own memory. What you learned with another AI becomes the starting point of yours.

No. What you already built moves with you. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and Microsoft's personal Copilot let you download your history from their own settings; Meta AI too, though it has to be requested separately in each app. In the Installation Clinic your Satori reads it, indexes it and turns it into its own memory — you never have to explain who you are again. The only ones without an official export today are DeepSeek, Qwen and Kimi: there, what's worth keeping gets copied and pasted by hand, conversation by conversation. In every other case you don't need to understand or open the file: you download it, hand it to your Satori, and it does the rest.
