It's the question careful people ask, and it deserves a full answer, no fine print. These are the four everyone asks before installing.
"Does Satori snoop through my whole computer?"
Satori works in its own folder, with the accounts you connect and the files you point it to. Nothing else enters its radar. It isn't software that scans your disk: it's a filing system that lives in a folder of yours.
"Does my information go out to the internet?"
What you ask it to process travels to the AI provider exactly the same way it does when you use an AI chat in your browser. Satori doesn't open any new channel. And it's configured with training turned off: your information doesn't train anyone's models.
"What about my passwords and cards?"
Credentials go into your system's encrypted keychain, not into readable files. And the confidential parts of your work simply don't go in: that boundary of yours is the right one, and Satori honors it. Bringing AI into your company's information is a different phase, with data agreements in place.
"Who controls the scope?"
More scope is more value, but only in the areas where you're comfortable — you decide how far and when. Everything Satori knows lives in readable files on your disk: you can open them, audit them or delete them whenever you want.
